01/27/07 - 01:40 - No More Hosting or Design

I will no longer be offering hosting services or domain registration services through Eclectic Designs. In large part because I'm tired of dealing with non-paying clients. I will continue to provide support for existing clients.

I have also decided that I will not accept any freelance contracts in the near future, as I'm now back in school working on a bachelors degree. I plan to start freelancing again when I'm done (currently estimated at August 2008). Keep and eye on the site, as I'll redo it when I relaunch the freelance services.

 

08/16/06 - 12:08 - Forums Closed

Since the only people really using the forums are spammers trying to get in (and being block), I've decided to close the support forums. I am planning on installing a help desk system in its place. I'll post the news when it is up and running.

 

04/24/06 - 12:04 - What's On Tap?

As a quick update, I wanted to let folks know that I have not abandoned the CascadianFAQs. CascadianFAQ-CF is almost done, after a lengthy delay due to personal obligations. I look forward to announcing it's release in another month or so. If you'd be interesting in helping with Beta testing, please send me an email.

 

02/15/06 - 01:02 - New Site Design

I finally finished the redesign of the Eclectic Designs site which is done in XHTML and CSS. Woo hoo! I hope visitors find it more user friendly and enjoy the new look. With the new design comes an updated portfolio, the return of the hosting ordering form, and a quote request form! I'll update the forums soon to match the new design.

 

07/22/05 - 11:07 - Good Bye Windows

I've decided I will no longer offer Windows hosting. Its too much of a pain in the ass and my clients on it have had more problems in two months that all of my Linux clients have had in two years. Current windows clients will, of course, continue to be supported, I just will not accept anymore Windows accounts. ColdFusion hosting will also still be offered, but only on Linux.
